Fact-Checking Policy
This page explains how TDG checks public claims before they are published or updated.
What gets checked
- Brand, model, casting, scale, and variation details
- Public value language and confidence level
- Proof-image labels and image permission status
- Release notes, packaging notes, and known identifying markers
What happens when proof is thin
If TDG cannot support a claim with enough proof, the page stays candidate, unverified, or no-value-yet instead of overclaiming. Missing proof is called out so collectors know what is still needed.
How to send better proof
Base photos, package photos, wheel close-ups, tampo close-ups, barcodes, and edition numbers all help. Use Submit Photo / Proof if you have clear evidence.
