GreenLight 86515 is the 1:43 version of the 1983 GMC Vandura from The A-Team. Its identity matters because the familiar television van also appears in other scales and finishes. Start a retailer comparison with the manufacturer number, rather than assuming every black A-Team van listing is the same collectible.

Choose the display size first
A 1:43 van suits a collection already built around that scale. If you are deciding between this release and GreenLight’s 1:24 item 84072, think about the rest of the shelf: for the same full-size vehicle, a 1:24 model is about 1.79 times as long as a 1:43 model. That ratio describes scale, not the measured length of either boxed product.
The compact version makes sense when the van will sit with several movie vehicles. The larger scale gives the subject more visual space when displayed by itself. Neither choice establishes better paint quality or more opening parts; those need release-specific evidence.
How to compare retailer listings
Look for GreenLight, 86515, 1:43 and 1983 GMC Vandura together. The UPC recorded by MuncleMikes is 812982029289. The finish should match the black-and-gray A-Team presentation. A weathered release, a bullet-damaged version or another scale belongs in a separate comparison.
Then compare the condition of the model and its packaging, the items included, shipping and the retailer’s return terms. Manufacturer photographs identify the release but do not document every individual box. If packaging condition is central to your collection, ask the seller for that detail before ordering.
